Mr. Winters has been in the Las Vegas legal community for nearly twenty years. He started at the ground up as a runner to and from the courts and worked his way up, through law school to become well versed in both trials and transactional matters. Following obtaining his Juris Doctor, Mr. Winters went back to law school and earned his LL.M. in Taxation.

 

He has experience litigating complex civil matters, injury cases, business disputes, probate and estate cases and complex divorce matters. Mr. Winters has also acted as corporate in house counsel for publicly traded entities, startups and investors, franchise owners, investment management firms and even tax compliance counsel for other law firms. 

 

Mr. Winters is admitted to practice in all Nevada District Courts, Federal Courts and the U.S. Tax Court. He is a member of the Nevada Probate and Trust Sections, Tax Section and Family Law Section and he was also voted as a Mountain States Super Lawyer and Lawyer of Distinction. 

 

Mr. Winters brings his knowledge and experience in the courtroom to serve his clients as a partner at Winters Spelman, focusing his practice on civil litigation, injury law, wills, trusts and complex estate planning, complex divorce, entity structuring and transactional matters.
